Privacy and data

Last updated: October 6, 2026

ForgeCut is developed by Guja of Guja Studios. This page describes the data flows used by this website and its licensing service.

Browsing and cookies

The website does not include advertising or analytics scripts in its application code. The hosting provider processes website requests, which can include IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, and server logs. Administrators who log in receive a necessary session cookie named fc_admin_session that expires after seven days. Public pages do not require that cookie.

Crash reports

When you choose to submit a crash report, the crash log and optional email address are sent to Formspree to help investigate the problem and follow up. Logs may contain file paths, usernames, or project information; remove private details before submitting. Read Formspree's privacy policy for its handling of submitted data.

Purchases and license activation

Purchases take place on Gumroad when you follow a purchase link. Gumroad handles checkout and payment details under its privacy policy. The ForgeCut licensing service verifies license keys with Gumroad and stores license keys, device identifiers, and activation dates needed to manage device licenses. Do not include your license key in public support messages.

External media and links

Workshop previews may load thumbnail images from YouTube. Playing a YouTube preview loads a player from youtube-nocookie.com. These requests disclose connection information to the media provider. Links to Discord, GitHub, YouTube, and other sites are subject to those services' privacy practices.

Questions and data requests

For questions about information you submitted, or to request access, correction, or deletion, email gujastudios@gmail.com. Describe the request and include enough information to locate your submission. The About page links to the developer's other public channels.
